As a trainee you will work 4 days in our Ballina office and have 1 day study leave to obtain your Cert IV in Marketing and Communication at TAFE Digital. You will do the coursework in your own pace. This will also determine how quickly or slowly you finish your traineeship. Our past trainees have finished TAFE in a bit under 1 year.

You will be trained on the job in all aspects of marketing, marketing automation, design, web design and also get insights into the busy world of a MarTech agency. You will be assigned a work buddy who will help you finding your feet and learning your tools. Your manager will also check in with you on a weekly basis to coach and mentor you through this exciting new phase in your life. While you are learning about the world of MarTech, you will explore different specialisation pathways and decide at some point which area of specialisation excites you most. We will then set up a training plan and progression framework to assist you growing into a role past the traineeship.

This entry level position will be your first stepping stone into a new career. Our progression framework allows each team member to climb the career ladder within a reasonable time, learn new skills and become an expert in their field.

We are all a bunch of misfits. Not one of us has studied marketing and many of us had a career in a different line of work and industry before coming to 4DP. Inclusivity and diversity are at the heart of our culture at Four Drunk Parrots. We know that embracing people from diverse backgrounds and experiences creates a wonderful workplace and better outcomes for all. We make our hiring decisions based on experience and passion, not whether you tick all the boxes. We recognise that making reasonable adjustments is important and we are happy to provide them if you are keen to apply. We also encourage you to let us know the pronouns you use at any point during the recruitment process.
